Living in the Dark Place

Living in the Dark Place
By Christopher Gren
Acrostic poem

I dedicate this one right here, to my brothers and sisters. Who feel alone and helpless. Remember, we are all in it together.

Demonic are the winds that rattle his window at night,
Ongoing is his razorblade smile,
Now at the edge of insanity, he embraces his fate,
Thoughts of his failures rake his heart,
Grotesque imagery painted on the floor,
Is there a way to find the light?
Voices of doubt echo through the walls,
Every passing moment, darkness cloud his eyes,
Until the ground crumbles and the sky parts,
Prying his eyes from Horus's light, welcoming him to a new day.

    Oh Chris, I love this...
It really is a nice piece this, the inspiring message and the tone is just so calm and although the reasons behind the write and that are not always pretty, the strength here is evident and the waves you are coating us with, are waves on hope and an inspiration.

I love this Chris, it really touched me.

:') thank you Tara. You have no idea how long it took me to finish this. Being inspirational in a poem is a different step for me since most of my poem are sad and dark mostly. I wanted the reader to hold their head up and remember that even in your dark place, you can still find the light. ;) thank you
