Anxiety

by Empty knight   Feb 22, 2013

I can't breath
My chest has collapsed my lungs
I can't see
The ground has kept me fixated
I can't speak
My vocal chords are in knots
I can't think
My brain is over run with ghosts
I can't hear
Beyond this screaming silence
I can't feel
Anything beyond this tension
I can't imagine
Living beyond this state
I won't win
Anxiety keeps me still
I can't break
This statue for which I've become
I won't live
In fear of becoming nothing

    I like it.
The way you formatted it was interesting. A short, concise line then a longer meaning.
    It is interesting.
And the over all topic is one that is easy to relate to.
    No real complaints. :)
