Where the darkness interludes the light

by Alanis   Mar 5, 2013

Who am I?
I'm the darkness that consumes the light
I am the last one standing, not afraid to fight
I have the balls to grow up and stand tall
I'm the one not afraid to fall
I'm the soldier trained to stand my ground
Even if my cold, dead body may never be found.

Who am I?
I am the innocent child, lost in her own mind
I am the one whose contract with the devil
has already been signed.
I am the soul looking for redemption
I am the evil girl with poor intentions
I am lost in a handful of dreams
Lost where no one can hear my pathetic screams
