Cyan & Cinnamon

by LostForWords   Mar 11, 2013

Clear cyan carribean ocean dreams
Your eyes mesmerized by sands of cinnamon
As a teared waterfall cascades down a mountainside
Nested are hatchlings of yellow-billed cuckoo's
Castries in the summer sunchyme
Infinity is just beyond our fingertips
Now pursued by lost wanderers
Nearer to the cliffs edge they creep
Adrenaline is a divine intervention
Missing royal skies and fluffy clouds
On the journey back to home
Not looking for Utopia

This was really creative and I liked your choice of acrostic.

You painted a clear scene in my head while I read this but there is one line that jumped out most to me :

    Adrenaline is a divine intervention

    - I adore this line and would perhaps like to see you make this line into a poem itself and explain this deeper? Very interesting line indeed!
