Alone with the T.V

by LostForWords   Mar 12, 2013

Sat on the sofa in a room,
heavy eyes stare at the box
of one way conversations.
Detained by lack of motivation.

A world of disfunctional atrocities
surround us daily, denial and deceit
reveal themselves in the form of
malicious words.

Paranoia becomes a prevailing enemy
of many, as the walls feel as though
they are closing in. Trapped by a
twisted turmoil.

Alone with the TV is a state of schizophrenia,
when the only voices heard are the ones
that answer the questions inside your head.
