Inflatable Expectations

by LostForWords   Feb 21, 2014

Looking back on my life, I realise now the mistakes
That were made. My constant endeavours
of favourable actions.

Not wishing yet hoping that some day this life
might sprint past me. Time waits for
no man, you can see so clearly
the transparent hands.

Following an ever lasting directive motion
that was nothing more than to forfill
a desire of your inflatable
expectations.

Very inspiring poem. Time does slip away from us, and while we seem to wish it away and wish it to spped up, we do not realise how fast it is actually moving.

I think this poem shows a lot of regret for wasted time, perhaps something that we feel refers to our late teen years, when we feel something is important at the time, only we grow up, and learn to see the mistakes that we made, and learn from them.

    Nice work.
