Still Here

by Cecilia   Mar 22, 2013

Time freezes,
And the birds stop chirping.

Time freezes,
And I'm no where to be found.
Caught in the middle,

Somewhere between
The beginning and the end.

The sun ceased exuding its blissful summer heat,
The waves crashing to the shore came to a sudden pause,
And the once perpetual breeze has departed....

Not a soul passes me by
Silence reigns over noise,

And Time's precious hands become paralyzed,
Frozen in midday's despair.

Nothing moves,
But I'm still here.

Nothing moves,
And although I wish I wasn't,
I'm still here.
