To blind to see (My Truth)

by Issiac A Barnes   Apr 11, 2013

I'm breathing, but now I'm breathless
I'm walking, but now I'm forever restless
I've lied and I've cheated on you
I'm standing now as a man telling the truth
I have called you names no man should ever say
I treated you like trash of eons yesterday
You gave me children, I returned to you pain
You said I love you, I replied you're insane
I've walked out repeatedly without exception
You screamed please stop, I blocked out your depression
I saw none of your worries, your sorrow was my power
I stayed out late as you checked in every hour
You're now fed up even after my dramatic change
I guess in your mind it can never be the same
You're leaving me now, I'm dead to you like Cain to Abel
The weights I caused can no longer hold the table
I'm here now with every sorry left in my heart
The family we've built I don't want to see torn apart
I did not listen nor was I able to see
That you were truly created just for me
