I Was Never Enough

by H. Elizabeth   Apr 11, 2013

I did that wrong
I didn't do this right
I was never enough
To satisfy.
I am a worthless piece of
Nothingness.
Lost in the darkness of all
Existence.
Out of sight
But in my mind
Haunting me
All the time.
I was never enough.
I couldn't end what
I had begun.
If I had been enough
We would be fine,
We'd start from the beginning.
If I was enough we'd still be together
If I was enough we would have had our
Forever.
