Cascade

by Jenni Marie   Apr 14, 2013

Leaves twist, slowly cascading to the floor
wildlife gets ready for hibernation
young children; so excited to explore
basking in beauty; nature's foundation

birds twittering quietly singing songs
warm rays of sunshine floating overhead
places for everyone, we all belong
children at play, footsteps nosily tread

innocence at its best enjoys the day
cool breeze amicably blowing through trees
untold youthful joy now on full display
obvious purity at so much ease

bathe in warm sunshine, enjoy the season
life is worth living for several reasons
