I made the mistake
of jotting down my dreams on paper
with a half-sharpened pencil,
that only embeds my biggest failures.
My tears have made it impossible
to see a clear future, as they
smudge the remnants of my heart's desires.

    I've grown rather fond of writing/reading short pieces lately. They seem to pack a bigger punch and gets to the point quickly using the right words. You done it flawlessly! Writing a quick release, jotting down heart felt lines only to see them blur with tears.
