Moving on ...

by Lyssi Lori   May 26, 2013

A lash of the tongue can demolish trust,
Looking for love but you only find lust.
Her books are filled with blank ink guilt,
Everything is crumbling in the world that she built.
One wrong move could be her last,
Needs more time, but have think fast.
Weighing the options is hardly an option, picking up the broken pieces,
Going in every which direction hoping that something eventually ceases.
She says a payer and hopes for the best,
But knows it's up to her for the rest.
There is no looking back, she holds her head up high,
Not trying to stand out in the crowd, just merely getting by.

This is such a sad yet inspiring piece.

There is no looking back, she holds her head up high,
Not trying to stand out in the crowd, just merely getting by.
    ^^
Loved these lines because none of us should dwell on the past but we all do it and none of us want to stand out but its better to stand put than follow the crowd.

    All the best, Em
