The Girl That Ran Away

by XxxPaige   Jun 29, 2013

One night a young woman fled home,
her destination was home.

When she got there she was poor and hungry,
she needed money and she lost her humor so nothing was funny.

Her life slipped away slowly before her eyes,
soon death took her life and soul in a couple of nights.

Her parents soon got a call,
her funeral was scheduled for late fall.

When the time came
it seemed the family had gone insane.

They were stressed and depressed,
causing their lives to become a crazy mess.

The daughter watched guiltily from heaven above,
she tried to send them her love.

For weeks there were no difference,
the girl stormed to a head angel demanding to see them and accepting no less.

The father and mother soon saw their daughter,
the mother sobbed into her husbands shoulder.

The daughter told them "Be good, then you can come to heaven and see me."
she floated away and spent her after life waiting.

Finally, her parents soon joined her in blissful eternity,
where they spent the longest of time hugging and laughing.
