Ballet Dancer

First Position
head high
heels together
Arms out
So beautiful
But as you watch her
You can tell
She doesn't feel beautiful
Her chin dips as she misses a step
No one noticed but her
To her she is not good enough
not pretty enough to call herself a dancer
but her steps are not
like she thinks
they are graceful
beautiful
Amazing
What a shame
a girl like her does not see her beauty
she's as pretty as a rose
one day I hope she looks in a mirror
and sees her big blue eyes the color of the sky
her perfect pale skin and raven hair
I hope she sees the beauty she is
