I Decided to Set the World on Fire

by Dawn   Jul 8, 2013

I decided to set the world on fire
I grew bored of its occupants
They do nothing but fight over petty things
I thought I made them better than that.
I guess not
I watched as a man killed his wife
And a mother drown her child
What a world I've created
These monsters think so highly of themselves
They don't know how low they are
I've given them things that could wipe out their existence
But the cowardice creatures do nothing but threaten one another
None of them willing to really do so
I shake my head at the pitiful things
Should have killed them all long ago
Now
With a flick of the wrist I watch a small flame ignite and slowly start to grow
Consuming all that is near
I set the world on fire because they all deserve to burn
