She hides behind a paper and a pen
Because shes let so many people in
They have shattered her stars and broken her sky
And looking in her eyes
I see every drop of pain inside
She writes stories so she wont live in her own
It breaks her heart
Just to simply know
That she was never perfect
It was all a lie
She cuts her skin
To cut her heart
For once
She wants to be the one to tear herself apart
Everyday she prays for the pain to go away
Because maybe shes not comfortable with herself
But shes comfortable with who she fakes
Shes comfortable with the fake smile on her face
Because maybe just maybe it masks the pain
The tears may fall but that doesn't mean she hasn't tricked them all
Shes broken beyond repair
but...
No one really cares
