Light no longer found

by Liquid Grace   Jul 31, 2013

Disdain scratches at the door,
Terrified voices, hidden, HUSH!
Rustic holes remain unattended,
It's frame, no longer plush.

Innocence; a word unheard,
Sweetness; what is this taste?
Squinting through the darkness,
Guidance swiftly replaced.

Shore recedes; UNWILLING,
Dive in the waters warm,
Throw caution to the wind.
Sun no longer parts the storm.

Nautilus body transforms,
Mind's drenched in shame.
Taken over by a sea of anger,
Another victim of rapes name.
