Deadly Whispers

by Jenni Marie   Aug 2, 2013

Summer was stolen away too soon;
as between themselves, the trees quietly rustled
in anticipation of the coming monsoon
whilst wildlife became victims of their harried bustle
Hail fell haphazardly from high up in the skies
as winter surely and rapidly approached
to warmth and sunshine He waved goodbye
as summer looked on with mild reproach

*Baby Rainbow's Challenge
Prompts:
deadly whispers
stolen too soon
victims
when jealousy burns
disturbing behaviour

*has to be a rhyming nature poem

Whoever challenged me to rhyme and nature, you suck lmao
