The Robber

by devereaux   Oct 9, 2013

Let's say you're walking down the street in Malibu,
A man comes up and wants to rob you.
And you want to run but he has a gun
And you don't know exactly what to do.
And as you look around you begin to frown.
Cause now he wants you to get down on the ground
And then you visualize as things intensifies,
A bullet entering in your head, but if you don't obey,
Just like he say.
You really might end up dead.
But low and behold, hey what do you know
You look down the street and seen.
A cop on his beat coming up the street,
With red lights and a siren.
So you jump for joy
And shout oh boy!
Cause a cop is coming on the scene.
Cause you were being robbed by this stupid slob
And now a cop will intervene
You see I'm the police and I keep the peace
And I protect and I do serve,
I'm the one you need
To make a robber flee,
Cause I got a whole lot of nerve,
You dial 911
Cause I'm the man with the gun
And I'm not afraid of anyone.
I come to your aid cause I'm not afraid
To do what I have to do.
Cause it's my job if you're being robbed
To come and see about you.
I'm the one you call when you're full of fear
And you need someone to cover your rear.
I'm the one you call when you been car jack,
And you want me to find it and bring it back.
I'm the one you call when you're
In despair.
And you need someone to be right there.
