The police Woman

by devereaux   Oct 13, 2013

So you think I 'am a joke, because I 'am not a man,
So I bust you in the head, then, you'll understand.

That I' am taking you to jail, so you have to come along,
You shouldn't of broke the law, you put yourself in the wrong.

But that's what I do, day in, and day out,
Upholding the law, that's what it's all about.

But being a woman, I got to try really hard,
Because, working with a man, I'm just a costar.

But I get the job done, and that's all that counts,
I mean, I'm not trying to match him, ounce, for ounce!

But I can do assignments, that men can't do,
And close a lot of cases, when they hadn't a clue.

And, I get a lot of respect, that women don't get,
Cause being a police women, takes a lot of wit.

But, that's what I am, I am proud to say
Up holding, law and order, and fighting crime, night, and day.
