Scattered Diamonds (Collab)

by Maple Tree & Jenni Marie   Dec 2, 2013

Leaves whisper amongst trees
as wood crackles between itself
bark rustles; scratching together
as birds perch upon bare tree tops

Dangling high upon a misty whisper
of harmonious breezes, natures creatures
bask in the depths of creation, as a tiny leaf
floats away into autumns breath-taking beauty

Carelessly floating along within a
nocturnal breeze, as horizons open;
countless opportunities available
as wings spread, soaring high

Twigging wind chimes dangle
within a kiss of tree forest friends,
I become one, with nature's life and love
walking barefoot, I feel the eight legged
creatures stir with compassion

I feel more at home here then I ever did
with people, for here there's no greed or
envy or desires for revenge and retribution
-merely just a simple will to love and live

Whoever wrote this clearly has so much talent...*giggles

In all seriousness...I really do adore this (and it's not often I like what I end up with when writing!) and I think we did a pretty good job, especially considering it's the fist time we have written together!

Truly an honour for me and always here for an encore :)

      Encore - YES!

Jenni, what I truly adore about our nature piece, is the unique twist of inspirational messages that you tossed within... It just made this poem so unique, which is what I love to create within nature poetry... so thank you- <3
