The water of life

Life's a luscious drop of water
scurrying on thousands of surfaces.
Sometimes it's just lukewarm.
Other times it's hot or cold.
It runs its course
steadily and roughly
at one time or another
until
it wears out
slowly but surely.

    I LOVE small poems that pack a punch... When designed in such a way that the reader can take several messages to it, says its a powerful poem... I agree with Beautiful Soul... I like the word usage of Luke Warm! You described the message of life in a very unique and creative way.. really love this!!

    I loved how you can compare water to life here. The wording you used a metaphor is perfect. Like lukewarm can be considered "normal" and hot and cold can be depression and happiness. The poem is very short but very strong message. Well done!
