Where is your Soul?

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 28, 2014

Warmth thrives within each individual cell,
an energy without much luminescence.
The body is only a shell
the soul is the very essence.
The spirit is the sacred breath
without it there will be a death
Memories of the dearly departed
are kept by the broken hearted,
but where the surviving soul goes
The Holy Spirit only knows .

I enjoyed this, it has some beautiful lines and ideas, and all the while it states the belief of the cycle of life, how we are born with a soul and spirit, and how it makes us who we are. I love that you said only the body is a shell, very true indeed.
