Take yourself back to the day that you lost everything you ever had.
Strip yourself from your freedom, the night you went mad.

Your world came crashing, burning, all you built had been lost.
But you never believed, a shattered heart would be the cost.

So you went on a long stroll, a stroll in the dark all alone.
You walked so far, your heart was gone, not your own.

All that had been was now but dust in the wind.
You questioned god, was this punishment, for the sinned?

Lost in time, created in space, losing was not part of the plan.
You fell in love, but the other person was not your #1 fan.

Weeks turned into months, and months into years.
Never thinking again, another could find you, only the tears.

But when the lord gave you a man, you didn't believe that
you could ever be granted with something so pure.
One night, over wine, you fell in love and you were sure.

But what you love about this person standing before you now.
No one could break you, until him, only to him you allow.

But you love him intensely to the point of no return.
The fire for his love , lights with a fiery burn
