Whatever Lies Ahead

by Ray Blue   Apr 11, 2014

I know I can't walk on water
Our childhood days I'm chasing after
Like crystal clear itself
For some its finding oneself
Yet I'm giving up this world for you

Whatever lies ahead
I got no more tears to shed
Whenever you are so close
There's nothing I want more
Than to be with you

Patience and over the yearnings
I learned some of the things
Though wearing a mask and pretend
We each learned how to mend
While I concealed it all through

Even if it's just a dream
You're always be so close
Even if it's just a dream
Seems to me time is so slow
Lost again into this celestial view

Just like a speck of dust
Will you leave this love turn to dust?
Sometimes its so hard to understand
Thinking those times can't be undone
Gently in this mem'ries of oceans so blue

Wherever I go
Walking again the same road
Lies the heart I must follow
The paradise that we used to know
Hurts only when I breathe without you

Whatever lies ahead
I got no more tears to shed
Whenever you are close
There's nothing I want more
Than to be with you.

You should think about putting these poems into music for they really do have a way to touch the reader. At least it does for me...nicely penned.
