Tuna tuna

by Narph   Apr 11, 2014

Tuna's in the wet,
scales slipping in the sea
the net hitched, the breath the breath
pushing from the light.
tuna's in a bucket
scales splinter sun from sea
the gills splayed the gills the gills
heavy liquid fight.

*I encourage everyone to look into what's happening with the overfishing of Bluefin Tuna right now. Be thoughtful next time you go out for sushi.
