Why

I gave you my all and everything
I could
yet you left me all alone
just like I knew u would....
At first I wasn't about
giving u all my heart.
because I knew this would end
and I'd be torn apart
people say when you find love
that you should dive all in.
I say why try
when we're doomed before we begin.
well all I can say is that I'll never
love another
because this pain in my gut
never again will I discover...

    Jason this is good yet pretty sad. We all deserve happiness and i believe that one day when we are least expecting it, it'll come to us.
    Yes, you may feel broken now and not want to love again but in time you will find someone who will mend it for you.

    I think this line would read better without the but, just a suggestion.
