Crystal; inferno; eyes

by Dancing Rivers   Oct 6, 2014

A quick, shadowed
glimpse, from his infernal haunting eyes,
creating a melancholy glow,
in this dying heart of mine.

Dark-chocolate velvet
curtains, the mystery within,
which burns as dying starlight,
vividly bright and dim.

What shadows do you hide,
deep within that crystalline gaze?
Your spell has me bound and tied,
haunted by that smokey haze.

Quain, the dark one-
under your spell I
am drowning,
in the silk
notion, of a mystery concealed.

Break this spell!I beg of you.
For my tired heart can take no more,
sleepless nights in a darkened room,
haunted by eyes I do not know, but have come to adore.

Ok so here's the funny story, this poem is about a guy who works at the shop where we but groceries, and the first time I saw him there seemed to be shadows under his eyes, but today I was forced to speak to him in order to find out when they were getting in this other milk my mom drinks, and I was completely taken aback by his magnificent eyes,I couldn't stop staring, they were this pale, hypnotic cornflour blue, and I noticed that what I'd thought were shadows beneath his eyes were actually his stunning long lashes that touched his cheeks, and then we had this weird moment of noticing each other trying to pretend to not notice each other and his lashes started to flutter about in an effort to not make unnecessary eye contact, but when we did, oh, my heart soared to Heaven with the beauty of his mysterious eyes, and his beautiful smile that was ever so gently dimpled, and I discovered from his tag that his name is Quain,a mysterious name for a beautiful and mysterious man!!!! :-P
