Another kind of love story

by Karla   Dec 3, 2014

She doesn't love him,
he doesn't love her.
he said he is in love with another woman:
the far-fetched muse, well-bread and happily married.
who can believe a teacher who goes to work
wearing make up and high-heels?
here, nobody.
you have to be clean and discreet.

but he loves her and waits
like a boa constrictor eating a cow.
she smiles, seducing don quixote in him,
keeping his euphoria under her shoes
and as she lulls his sick dreams,
the other heats his bed some weekends
when the moon is cut in three.

"i don't know what to say."
i told her today
so i hugged her fragile soul and
we were 20 again.
i can assure you
i felt as stupid
as she was when
his undeniable half truth
touched her naked body
-again-.
i only hope she can alter
the route of the foxes
