From letters on a screen

by Adam Murphy   Dec 17, 2014

It seems like only yesterday
You were only words
Just letters on a screen
With a voice I'd never heard
Then as time passed by
My feelings grew
Like rose buds on a bush
Once i heard you speak they bloomed
And I'd fallen from that push
I didn't try to catch myself
Nor did I kick and scream
I left behind a darkened world
And replaced it with a dream
No worries of what could have been
Just thoughts on what will be
Then it came to seeing you
And hoping you'd fell for me
As i opened up that door
And saw you on the grass
With once glance i knew for sure
That we could make this last
Now I'm laying here alone
Longing for your touch
Writing you a little poem
I know it isn't much
Fore when i think about your eyes
Your skin against my own
Rainy thoughts turn to blue skies
And tingle to my bones
So when times get tough
And you feel broke..perhaps a little lost
Just remember this one thing
I'm yours without a cost. ;P

Awwwwwwww you're so sweet. What a lucky girl I am. :) Youre the best, no one else is as amazing as you are. I love you very much. FYI I love the poem and you spelled a couple things wrong. I wouldn't be your girlfriend if I didn't correct you lol.
