Smile

She asked for me to smile today
I'll admit I was caught off guard
But the thing that surprised me most
Smiling for her just wasnt hard
So i stopped and thought about it
Why did she have to ask?
Am i so used to being let down
That I got stuck in the past
So many times I've heard " I love you"
And ended up in tears
Never being asked to smile
Not once in all those years

    Aww this is lovely. Love can be so hard to deal with once we've been broken down too many times but it happens.

    Just a simple smile or love Can make the world go round.
