Heavenly Dream:

by Scott Cole   Feb 8, 2015

If I could visit Heaven I would keep my ticket safe, and the night before the trip I would have excitement on my face.
I would be there early to get a window seat, I will have my eyes and my camera because the views will be so neat.
Cause Heaven is so great Heaven is so grand, I'll take all the pictures I want with my camera in my hand.
When the sky fades of blue and it finally opens up, and a voice from the front says time to get your stuff.
I'll look to the window for that one last look, and snap a few last pictures for my picture book.
We all line up and hurry to the front, and I cant believe my eyes as I see all the worth.
The sun in the sky puts the one on Earth to shame, and I stand there stunned cause no one is to blame.
Everyone is friends everyone of them.
Everyone is happy cause up here there's no sin.
So I pull myself together with my camera in my hand and prepare myself for the beauty of this land.
Everyone I see everyone I meet, every last one of them runs up to me and greets.
I walk down the streets the streets paved of gold, my mind is so happy not all it can behold.
Everyone is sharing and everyone is caring, for everything is perfect what did you expect.
The air is so fresh I can barely catch my breath, the sky so blue my tired eyes need some rest.
My heart beats with doubles taking all this in, just when I think I got it I have to start again.
The colors here in Heaven they stand out yes they do, and the voices and the sounds are all so pleasant too.
Nothing costs a dime everything is free, thanks to God who paved the way for me.
The birds in the sky they really know the words, it
was the sweetest music I think I ever heard.
All of a sudden I woke from my sleep, not sure if all was a dream.
So I reached for my camera to take a look and see, and all the pictures was there just like my dream.
So I looked to the sky the sky with a grin, said Lord tonight.. can we do it all again.
