Like a Candle on the Table

You, my dear, are like a candle.
On and on, just burning, melting;
Usually, quietly.

At night, I can see you brightly,
Right there, flickering, dancing,
Entertainingly, un-harmful.

Always lively. Fully charming.

Lightening the room entirely.
Instigating me to watch you.
All in all, just luring me to you,
Right towards your ardent spirit.

Beckoning me towards your fire.
Unaware, I follow you,
Tempted, wheedled by your heat,

I come closer, blazing in desire,

Lost, just looking at your eyes,
Over, and yes, over again, I,
Venture to your touch
Eager for a shelter.

Yearning for your warmth,
On and on, just loving
U

    Your title reminded me of the song "Like a candle in the wind" and whats even more smarter in this write is the way you have done the acrostics! Brilliantly penned and I like the imagery it holds.

    Oh it did get nominated although being in the love section....

    Hmmm....i say don't change it...it grit nominated, do you think it will be able to get voted on too by the judges??? Is there a glitch there???

    I guess my hand is just lucky that repairs and corrects everything it touches..:p the golden hand.... Haha or my luck good luck is at its peak and oh lol...that means my exams are gonna go superb..wow..i'm already happy...
