100 or so poems about You

by Maple Tree   Mar 18, 2015

I'ts 1:52 am. -

Your dimples are making me
dizzy with love,
my glasses are heavy
upon my nose
and I feel the need
to sleep-

But not until I capture the moment
of our silent and sinful sanity.

I think you have no idea
I'm writing about your smile- again

for the hundredth time or so...

But you know, and yet you allow me tap away
on this keyboard-

Because writing is my peaceful
meditation before slumber, under the moon in our castle.

Dammit man your smile gets to me,
after five years of marriage I still melt
when you smile at me, as if you don't know
I'm writing about you again,

for the hundredth time or so...

I love this. I just love how simple this piece is, you're writing about Jim again, and that's all that needs to be said because he still makes you feel and your love is strong and magical and just beautiful x
