Inch Worm:

by Scott Cole   May 6, 2015

Poor little fellow
Slow as can be,
Are you for certain
That you can see.

Inch by inch
Is how you move,
If you pick it up
You might improve.

If you just could
Keep your back down,
And stand up-right
When you walk around.

Then maybe you could
See a lot more faces,
See a lot more people
In a lot more places.

If you just happen
To find eleven more,
That's another foot down
In the square foot war.

So little inch worm
It's all up to you,
You could move faster
If you only had shoes.

But all of those shoes
Might get in your way,
Thats a whole lot of laces
That would need to stay.

So little inch worm
What are you gonna do,
Are you going barefooted
Or will you have on shoes.
