A Fallen Angel:

by Scott Cole   Jun 21, 2015

Angels not only live in Heaven
For they live on Earth as well,
But they all disguise themself
So it's so really hard to tell.

You want see no fluffy wings
You want even see their halo,
They keep them both put away
So none on Earth will know.

The sweetest Angel I ever knew
Was my grandmother Nanny,
I thank God every single day
He picked her for my granny.

If there ever was an Angel
That ever lived here on Earth,
She would be my first choice
Throughout all of the Universe.

But just like everybody else
Yes cause Angels do pass on,
But she'll never be forgotten
Even though she is now gone.

For my Nanny was my rock
And she kept me all together,
For I will always cherish her
And I'm talking about forever.

Yes the World sure misses her
She was taken without warning,
Now God has his Angel back
And all in Heaven is rejoicing.

For an Angel once you are
For an Angel you'll always be,
And my grandmother Nanny
She is the closest thing for me.

Yes another Angel has fallen
The greatest woman I ever knew,
She's gone but never forgotten
Oh Nanny I sure do miss you.
