Mirror Image:

by Scott Cole   Jun 22, 2015

If I was a mirror
What would you see,
When you stare inside
As you stand before me.

Is the man that you see
Does it resemble you,
Or is it someone else
I will give you a clue.

Who could it be then
That's not me I view,
Cause it's surely not me
That I see inside you.

I'll stand up really tall
I'll take me another look,
If it's me this last time
Then your off the hook.

For I am who I am
And that I will admit,
For a mirror only reflects
What's standing before it.

So if that is not myself
Inside of you that I see,
Then it has to be you
That's standing before me.

For I am but a mirror
And you are but a man,
So all that you see
Is all that I am.
