A Star Is Born:

by Scott Cole   Jun 25, 2015

Your popular
You turn down,
The day blanket
Without a sound.

The sun is gone
The stars are not,
You still can see
And it's still not hot.

The sky is full
A million stars tonight,
Their easier to see
For their all so bright.

So silent and still
So none out of place,
A little decorating
To liven up outer space.

Everything is so quiet
With stars all around,
Those dark cold skies
Make a sharp cricket sound.

You look like a sparkle
A light shining high,
With a flicker and glimmer
To attract all staring eyes.
