A turbulent Sea - your skin [ Experiment]

by Everlasting   Sep 4, 2015

Oh darling, turbulent like seas, your skin;
A violent brine that moves me off my feet.
In you, I swear, I'd like to swim and sink;
Or sail my float to you and give my fleet ( to thee ).

Until there's me, submerging in your waters;
immersing deeply into you... my soul;
Just drowning in your currents, like some sailer
that has explored the world in search of you.

Yet I am but a man without a ship,
Just standing near the edge of a steep cliff
with nothing but desires to kiss your lip
And dive, then drift, in deadly streams of bliss.

though if I were to jump to you, my love.
Would I then resurrect as a white dove?

One of my forgotten poems. I really need to start a piece and finish it.

      Thank you Ben, attempting to write sonnets can be hard. It's a changing experience.
