A Christmas Carol

by Mark Rawlins   Dec 8, 2015

Hark the herald bankers sing,
Come all ye plebs and worship the King.
Haven't ye heard, the economy's stronger,
and you've still got time to log into Wonga.
Profits are soaring, kerching, kerching,
So sing, ye peasants, sing, sing, sing!

Baby Jesus was born in a stable,
So ye better make sure there's food on the table.
In this season of joy, and time of giving,
Don't bleat on about the cost of living.
It's Heaven on Earth and world without end,
So spend, ye peasants, spend, spend, spend!
