Cherub's breath

by Sherry Caayupan   Jan 16, 2016

Pretty zinias in the garden,
dance along in unified harmony,
red roses touch my skin,
like dewdrops on petals of a morning glory;
indigo flowers smell like blossom,
in springtime l'est them bloom,
stargazers in the solemn room,
painted pastels as they strum;
birds of paradise sing in unity,
drooping in happiness,
mexican poppies do homilies,
like uplifting tune of hymns;
pink tulips bind in kisses,
daisies break in falsettos,
yellow torch in hypnotizing stresses,
chrysanthemum in pitch perfect sorrows...
