Child, never mind the silence.

by Everlasting   Jan 30, 2016

Shhh...

The night is quiet,

But soon...

the stars will appear up above,
and their brightness
will enlighten the sky

To make everyone come,
sit, gather
near bonfires,
to watch the stars draw paths,

constellations of stories,
unravel
in silence
to make the night speak

to our eyes

    Hello,

You've been busy on that island...

Another little gem. I like how you urge attention from the start. There is something immediate and real about a request of 'quiet' its the instant image of finger against pursed lips, together with the associated sound. I like it!
The scene is still, people waiting for: dusk to be replaced with light. Light from a spread if stars and from a bonfire. The image you set is wonderful. Excitement and fun as the inspiration of the night becomes the stories of tomorrow.

    Enchanting.

    Take care,

    Michael
