First Ever Love Letter:

by Scott Cole   Jan 31, 2016

Im a small piece of paper
Thats comfortable in pink,
With perfume in hand
I know i dont stink.

Born one rainy day
When it began to pour,
And your shakey fingers
Dampened my shores.

Im rough around the edges
Alittle battered from use,
From all the proof reading
You've put me through.

On one side there's you
On one side there's her,
Im stuck in the middle
With all the right words.

You wrote with great care
And pictures of hearts,
You made that all clear
Right from the very start.

The pressure's on me
Im marked for demise,
For whoever consumes me
Have not a dry eye.

For yes i love you
You make me feel better,
Says all of those words
In your First Ever Love Letter.
