Catch Your Eye:

by Scott Cole   Feb 10, 2016

If i was a sparkle
In your eye,
One less reason
For you to cry.

I'll hold my spot
With much honor,
Leave you no excuse
To ever ponder.

Day and night
I'm with you,
Hidden within
Your baby blues.

I'll make myself
Right at home,
Give them no cause
To ever roam.

I'm perched up high
Above your smile,
So my reflection
Is seen for miles.

You rock and cradle
My limelight,
Specks of glint
That do delight.

For if they shine
And if they glitter,
Your love for me
Will never wither.

You give me hope
A better way,
If in your eye
My luster stays.

Oh what a joy
It would be,
To be that sparkle
You never set free.
