The news today...

The news today,
sadly my love has flown away.

My love, my life my Senorita,
has gone to search a life, maybe greener.

A loss that cuts deep
alone in thought, I weep.

Plenty of more fish in the sea, I hear,
the ocean fills me with fear.

But the page of my story I must turn,
and again to swim, I will learn.

But maybe I will wait on land that is dry,
and just watch the fishes swimming on by.

I will find the strength and swim once more,
and hope to feel love again, upon my shore.

    Michael, the rhythm in this piece is really smooth and makes it all the more readable.

    Love can be very hard when it's not returned and break us bit by bit but we all deserve to be with somebody in time.

    Love sometimes is so strong it hurts especially when it's lost. It takes time to heal but there is greater love coming. Enjoyed reading. Great write.
