Day After Valentine's

by Roque de Castro   Feb 15, 2016

A rose has yet bloomed that can match your beauty.

Never a diamond found more precious than you.

All the gold in the world could never match your worth.

No rainbow in the sky could ever be more a sight to behold.

Not a star in the heavens could shine brighter than your smile.

And even the mighty sun struggles to match your warmth.

Mere words would never suffice to explain how I feel.

Nor could any poem sweet enough for you be written.

No second will tick by when I'm not thinking of you.

No hour will pass when I'm not missing you.

No day will end when I'm not in love with you.

And no year will go by that I don't cherish my memories of you.
