Sweet Little Lies:

by Scott Cole   Feb 17, 2016

Shame on you
For breaking my heart,
You won the game
You played the part.

With your sheen silky lips
All dressed in red,
Your every whispered word
Was a lie that you said.

Every last thought
Every breathe released,
Both was a waste
Behind you white teeth.

Right under my nose
In front of my eyes,
Everthing you whispered
Sounded like a lie.

Behind those blinds
Your bedroom eyes,
That told your lips
To go in disquise.

Watched from a distance
With interest and hurt,
As those rosy two lips
Started to blurt.

Shame on you eyes
For not doing a thing,
You called the shots
Pulled all the strings.

All your little lies
That's covered in blood,
Red little fingerprints
Where a crimescene once stood
