I thought I was invisible

by Everlasting   Mar 2, 2016

I peacefully watched the metro from across a bench.
A man with tattered clothes, smiled to me.
A woman with messy hair, smiled to me.
A kid sitting in the metro, smiled to me.
I stood up. I rushed inside a building.
A woman in the restroom, smiled to me.
They smiled to me.
To me.
To me.

What the heck??

You be amazed how many people notice us when the least expected. A simple smile can change everything. Take care

    Hello Lucero,

The end of this made me laugh - "what the heck?"

It's funny when people notice you when you spend your time thinking no one does, isn't it? More self-confidence required, I think!

    All the best,
    Ben

Lol, I used to enjoy thinking that I was being "invisible". I got more time to myself to think and to be at peace and pretty much enjoy my surrounding. So figuring out that I wasn't invisible ..was something... an eye opening? plus, I realized I was also smiling to the people without knowing it.
