Alone

by kaylie edgington   Apr 5, 2016

There are points
In your life were you
Feel all alone
For some it dosnt last long
For others it could last years
But no one is ever truly
Alone

There is always
Someone watching
They stand in
The shadows
Never quite coming
Close enough to see
Thier still there
Those people
Are ones who care
They would never
Actually say but they do

I know because
I'm one of them
I watch from the outside
Looking in hoping
For the best for anyone
Who deserves it

Kaylie, this is lovely-I like the thought of someone watching and looking out for another. Your words strike me as you being a very caring person who would like someone to care and look out for you as much as you do for them. Take care-Brenda

    Hello,

A nice write. I like the form; this makes it easy to read. The theme of 'caring people ' watching, looking in from the 'shadows ' is one many here can relate to. They care, we care, but we stay in the relative safety of the shadows.

It looks like you're stepping out. Good for you!

    Take care,

    Michael

    Kaylie-

    I love this poem.

It's elegant and a comforting message. We all have felt alone within times of our lives and this message for me, says that the lonely are the most precious because they are the ones to be there to comfort others....

    truly a lovely poem!
