Beauty of the Beholder?

The reflection in the mirror
shows two eyes
two ears
a nose, a pair of lips

Nothing strange
or unusual
my features are
just like everyone else

but inside I feel
uneasy in my skin
like it is stretched to tight
waiting to snap back

If we are all created
in His image
then why is beauty
in the eye of the beholder?

How can we all have
the same features
but some come out on top
while others falter

I have two eyes,
two ears, a nose
a pair of lips too
yet why is that not enough?

    This is real deep and yes why are you alone? My answer because there are people out there that think beauty is better than what's underneath.

    I feel beauty I'd better when you are beautiful inside not outside but many people think opposite. I love the concept of this.
